Always love live arrangements.
Here are a few of my favorites
from the past few months.

Love this one my dad got my mom for Mother's Day.

My friend Peyton gave me these for a dinner I hosted at my house.

Gave these to my mom, our florist back home does such great work.

A Cabin In The Woods

Last time I was home I decided to go up to our Cabin
on Huntington Lake. It's about an hour above the Ranch,
and the perfect place to hide away from the world.
And it takes cozy and rustic to a great level.
The place holds a trove of memories for our family
and has some beautiful California charm to boot.
It's where I learned to sail. I sailed in the High Sierra Regatta
a few years ago.

I love the wood work on the staircase.

The ceiling was made to look like the inside of a ships hull.

And of course, the Chris Craft was always a hit.

Man's Best Friend

I leave for California tomorrow!
Which means a lot of Ranch time,
and heading to Tahoe to continue working
on the house.
But it also means getting to hang out
with Ruger and Arena.

Ruger and I having a few moments.

Can't wait to see him!!!

Dinner Party

I have a new tradition in my life that has started
in the last few months. Some of my best friends
and I from SMU have started cooking dinner
together every Sunday.
We each randomly host the dinner at our homes
and everyone shows up and we cook dinners
together. It has become the highlight of
my week, because its a great way for
all of us to stay connected.
Some of our fun pics from dinners past.

Ranch Life

The entire family was home a few weeks ago.
Definitely doesn't happen very often anymore
with us all scattered everywhere. Especially
with having Mush in Buenos Aires for the
last few months, and Britt, Sean and Henry
being in Ireland. When we are all together
we definitely make the most of it.

Henry teething with a fish.

He wasn't very happy about the teething.

Putting my kitchen skills to use.

Cooking is far more enjoyable when you're not
just cooking for one.

Swimming with the family.

Henry meeting Spook for the first time.

Dad swimming with Henry

Taking in the views, the Ranch was looking
so gorgeous.

Making Progress

The house in Tahoe is coming together nicely.
Here are some of the recent purchases and looks
that are finely starting to look cozy and warm.
The way a ski house should look.
The Dining Area. Chandelier from Dallas, Rug from Steamboat CO,
Art from an auction in New Orleans, Center piece from Vail CO,
Buffet from  The Whimsey in Dallas, Chairs and Table sourced local.

The TV Room, Vintage champagne crates found in Dallas
and upholstered. The Rug and Sofa are from Dallas.

1800s German armoire for the Master Bedroom, sourced locally.

Chairs for the card table/breakfast area.
Bronze for the Living Room bought at Christie's in New York.

Once a few more of the finishing touches and art is purchased
I'll be having it photographed and I'll share the finished product.

Putting On The Ritz

Lately I've been hanging out with a lot of nuggets.
Seems like everyone around me is having babies.
Hopefully, someday I'll be so lucky.
This was my weekend at the Ritz with
Ricky and Henry. Claire and I stepped in to
babysit so that Ellen and Matt could have some
down time. We swam and we went to the Aquarium!!!

We were going for a European look.

Excuse the butt crack :)

Checking out the view of Dallas

Growling at the camera

Henry passed out on top of me. Tuckered out.
